Each engine has its own tuning module: GAN GT / GTL or GAN GA / GA+. Prices are per tuning module and include the current discount.
Not sure which engine you have?
The badge alone is not enough: in this generation, the same engine designation came in different power outputs, each with its own calibration. Check the power output in your registration document and find the matching row.

Chevrolet Captiva tuning: what changes
The tuning module sits between the sensors and the engine control unit (ECU) and adjusts their signals. Your manufacturer’s warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the module can be removed at any time.

What makes the Chevrolet Captiva special
Chevrolet Captiva tuning: the 2.2 D 184 hp comes first
The diesel that matters most in the Captiva range is the 2.2 D with 184 hp, 400 Nm and four-wheel drive, built from February 2011 to September 2018. In Germany about 62% of the Captivas registered were diesels. Chevrolet Captiva tuning with a tuning box depends on the engine generation, because the February 2011 facelift changed the engines; the diesels work with the GAN GT.
The 2.0 VCDI from VM Motori gave way to the 2.2 D, with 163 hp and 350 Nm on two-wheel drive and 184 hp and 400 Nm on four-wheel drive. Each engine version has its own output, so the module has to be matched to both the year and the output. The earlier 2.0 VCDI is listed at 126 hp and 150 hp, and the lower output was not offered in Germany.
The petrol engines
The petrol Captiva came with a 2.4, 136 hp at first and 167 hp from 2011, and a V6: the 3.2 with 230 hp, later replaced by a 3.0 with 258 hp. The catalogue lists the 3.2 V6 at 230 hp and 297 Nm and the 3.0 V6 at 258 hp and 288 Nm, and both are matched to the GAN GA+. Both V6 engines came with four-wheel drive only.
The other V6 versions in the catalogue, at 249 hp, 264 hp and 3.6 litres, belong to cars sold outside Europe. The Captiva shares its platform with the Opel Antara, but the module is chosen by engine and output, not by platform.
Chevrolet Captiva chip tuning: questions
How much more power does the Captiva 2.2 D 184 hp get?
The GAN GT takes the 184 hp and 400 Nm diesel to 236 hp and 505 Nm. Every diesel of this model is covered by the GAN GT, rated at up to 30% more power. These are the stated gains for this engine type, not a dyno reading of your car.
Captiva 2.2 D 163 hp or 184 hp: which one is mine?
Drive and output tell them apart: the 163 hp car has two-wheel drive, the 184 hp car four-wheel drive. The GAN GT suits both, as it does the earlier 2.0 VCDI cars.
Is there a module for the Captiva 2.4 and the V6 petrol?
Yes, the 2.4 and the V6 engines work with the GAN GA+, rated at up to 12% more power on naturally aspirated engines.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU remap without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
