Suzuki Chip Tuning
Up to 30% more power for your Suzuki
The Suzuki catalogue lists 130 engines (models: 26, generations: 33). For 21% of the engines, there are the GAN GT (up to 30% more power) and GAN GTL (up to 25%) tuning modules; for 102 naturally aspirated engines, the GAN GA and GAN GA+ (up to 12%). Each engine’s figures are on its own page.
Suzuki chip tuning without an ECU remap
The tuning module sits between the sensors and the engine control unit (ECU) and adjusts their signals. Your manufacturer’s warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the module can be removed at any time.

Suzuki chip tuning: questions
Whose diesel is in my Suzuki, and which GAN module fits?
The DDiS name covers Fiat, Renault and PSA engines, so look at the model and the years above to find the maker. In the catalogue the DDiS versions work with the GAN GT, with each power output treated separately.
How much more power does the GAN GT give the Swift Sport 1.4 Boosterjet?
The Swift Sport 1.4 Boosterjet with 140 hp and 230 Nm reaches 181 hp and 297 Nm with the GAN GT in the catalogue. These are the stated gains for this engine type, not a dyno reading of your car.
Boosterjet or Dualjet: which module fits?
The Boosterjet is a turbo and works with the GAN GT, while the naturally aspirated Dualjet gets the GAN GA+.
Suzuki chiptuning: tuning box or ECU remap for a Boosterjet or DDiS?
An ECU remap rewrites the factory software, while the GAN tuning module sits between the engine sensors and the ECU and adjusts their signals. The factory software, the checksums and the flash counter stay untouched, and the engine's factory protections remain active. Your manufacturer's warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the module can be removed at any time.
Does the GAN module affect my Suzuki warranty?
No. The module does not change the ECU software and can be removed at any time, so your manufacturer’s warranty is preserved. We also give an engine warranty: 2 years with the GAN GT, 1 year with the GAN GTL.
Tuning box or ECU remap: which should I choose?
An ECU remap permanently changes the maps in the ECU and leaves a trace in the flash counter. The GAN tuning module adjusts the sensor signals instead: the ECU stays in factory condition, and you can return the car to stock in about a minute.
Suzuki chip tuning: what to know about the engines
Suzuki tuning: DDiS is a trade name for bought-in diesels
For a diesel, Suzuki tuning with a tuning box begins with a simple question: whose engine is in my Suzuki? Suzuki has no diesels of its own; DDiS is the trade name for the turbodiesels it buys in, mostly common rail units. The 1.3 D13A comes from Fiat and powers the Swift from 2005 to 2013, the Ignis II and the Splash. The Fiat 1.6 D16AA drove the Vitara from 2015 to 2018 and the SX4 S-Cross from 2013 to 2018.
Fiat also supplied the SX4 with the 1.9 D19A with 120 hp, from June 2006 to August 2009, and the 2.0 D20A with 135 hp, from September 2009 to June 2014. Renault supplied the 1.5 K9K with 65 and 86 hp for the Jimny JB53 and the 1.9 F9Q with 129 hp for the Grand Vitara from 2005 to 2015. PSA supplied the 1.4 DV4 with 90 hp for the Liana from 2004 to 2007.
Petrol engines: K series, Dualjet and Boosterjet
The K series covers the Suzuki petrol engines of 1.0 to 1.5 litres: the K10B and K10C with three cylinders, and the K12B, K12C, K14B, K14C and K15B with four. The letter K is the series, the digits give the displacement, and the last letter is the variant. The series holds both kinds of engine: the K14C is a turbo and the K14B is naturally aspirated. Dualjet names the updated naturally aspirated K engines from 2013, with two injectors per cylinder and no turbo; the 1.2 K12C with 90 hp in the Swift is one.
Boosterjet means a turbo with direct injection: the 1.0 K10C with 111 to 112 hp and the 1.4 K14C with 140 hp. SHVS is a mild hybrid with a 12 V or 48 V starter generator that works on the K engines. ALLGRIP is a four-wheel drive system, not an engine, and says nothing about power. Turbo engines work with the GAN GT, rated at up to 30% more power; the Dualjet and the other naturally aspirated K engines with the GAN GA+, rated at up to 12%.

Models and sporty versions
The Swift Sport went from the 1.6 M16A with 125 and 136 hp to the 1.4 Boosterjet with 140 hp in June 2018. In Europe the Splash is also sold as the Opel Agila B, and the SX4 as the Fiat Sedici. Suzuki chip tuning for the Vitara, the Swift, the SX4 S-Cross, the Jimny and the Ignis starts in every case from the engine name.
Which Suzuki models are in the catalogue
The catalogue lists 26 models from Suzuki. The most engines are listed for the Swift (20), Grand Vitara (17) and Alto (14). The biggest gain among the models is on the Swift: up to +41 hp.
Naturally aspirated Suzuki engines
For 102 naturally aspirated engines from Suzuki, there is the GAN GA+: up to 12% more power and up to 15% lower fuel consumption in ECO mode. You can fit it yourself, in most cases in under 15 minutes.
How to find your Suzuki engine
Choose your model in the list above, then the generation by model year and chassis code, and the engine by the power output in your registration document. The engine page shows the exact gain and the tuning module price.
