What makes the Foton Tunland special
Foton Tunland tuning: the 2025 pickups and the catalogue engine
The Foton Tunland reached Europe in February 2025 in Poland and in March 2025 in Spain. The European pickups use a 2.0 diesel with about 162 hp and 390 Nm; some sources rate the mild hybrid versions slightly higher. The catalogue, however, has only one engine for Tunland tuning: a 2.4 petrol with 134 hp and 200 Nm, which is not the engine of the European pickups. The 2.4 petrol is a version sold outside Europe, in the Gulf states for example.

Foton Tunland chip tuning: how much more power does the 2.4 petrol get?
With the GAN GA+ the 134 hp 2.4 reaches 150 hp and 224 Nm; the module is rated at up to 12% more power, and these are the stated gains for this engine type, not a dyno reading of your car.
Is the Tunland G7 or V9 with the 2.0 diesel covered?
No. The 2.0 diesel fitted to the G7 and the V9 is not in the catalogue.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU remap without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
