What makes the Honda Fit special
Honda Fit tuning: in Europe it is the Jazz
The Honda Fit is sold as the Honda Jazz in Europe, so Honda Fit tuning with a tuning box follows the Jazz generation codes GD, GE, GK and GR. The Jazz II (GE, 2008–2015) has the 1.4 i-VTEC with 100 hp, and the Jazz III (GK, from 2015) has the 1.3 with 102 hp and the 1.5 with 131 hp. For Honda Jazz tuning every engine in the catalogue works with the GAN GA+. The 1.4 of the Jazz II with 100 hp gains 12 hp and 15 Nm, the 1.3 of the Jazz III with 102 hp gains 12 hp and 15 Nm, and its 1.5 with 131 hp gains 16 hp and 19 Nm. The Jazz IV (GR, from 2020) comes only as a hybrid, and this page has no figures for it.

Honda Fit tune: tuning box or ECU remap?
A Honda Fit ECU tune is one of two things: an ECU remap rewrites the factory software in the engine control unit (ECU), while the GAN tuning module sits between the engine sensors and the ECU and adjusts their signals. Your manufacturer's warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the module can be removed at any time.
What does the GAN GA+ give a Jazz 1.5 i-VTEC with 131 hp?
The 1.5 i-VTEC of the Jazz III has direct injection, and its catalogue gain is 16 hp and 19 Nm. The GAN GA+ gives up to 12% more power, so the gain is smaller than on a turbo engine.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU remap without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
