What makes the Nissan Titan special
Titan tuning for the 5.6 V8
A Titan on a European road is a full-size pickup built for the USA and Canada; Nissan never sold it in Europe. Nissan Titan tuning with a tuning box therefore relies on the American range. The first generation, the A60 (2004–2015), has the 5.6 V8 with 305 hp, rising to 317 hp from 2008.
For the second generation, from 2016, the catalogue lists 394 hp, close to the factory figure of 390 hp. All of them work with the GAN GA+, reaching 329, 342 and 426 hp.

Titan computer tuning: how does a tuning box differ from ECM tuning?
ECM tuning writes a new program into the control module; the tuning box only works on the signals that reach it. The GAN module leaves the factory software, checksums and flash counter untouched, and it does not reprogram the gearbox.
Which Titan version is mine, and what does the GAN GA+ add?
Go by output: 305 or 317 hp for the A60, or the 5.6 V8 of the second generation from 2016. In the catalogue the 305 hp truck goes to 329 hp with the GAN GA+. The GAN GA+ is rated at up to 12% more power; these are the stated gains for this engine type, not a dyno reading of your car.
Is the Titan XD diesel in the catalogue?
The Titan XD with the 5.0 Cummins V8 turbodiesel, rated at 310 hp (SAE), is not in the catalogue.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU remap without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
