What makes the Peugeot 107 special
Peugeot 107 tuning: 68 hp from three cylinders
The Peugeot 107 has 68 hp from a three-cylinder engine. That engine is the 998 cc Toyota 1KR-FE with 93 Nm, and the catalogue lists it at 68 hp. The same engine runs in the Citroën C1 and the Toyota Aygo, and all three cars were built together at TPCA in Kolín.
In Germany it was the sole engine offered: 68 thousand cars were registered from 2005 to 2014, all of them petrol. Tuning a 107 therefore comes down to this petrol engine, and the tuning box for it is the GAN GA+. The 1.4 HDi with 54 hp and 130 Nm, built from 2005 to 2010, works with the GAN GT.

Are the Citroën C1 and the Toyota Aygo the same as the 107?

Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU remap without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
