Toyota Aurion tuning with a tuning box, call it chip tuning or performance upgrades, rests on one fact: the Aurion has a single engine, the 3.5-litre 2GR-FE V6. The two catalogue listings therefore describe the same unit. The 268 hp and 272 hp figures stand for the same output, with 336 Nm of torque in both. The Aurion is the Australian prestige version of the Camry, built from 2006 to 2017 and never sold in Europe. Trims such as the Sportivo SX6 have the same V6; the supercharged TRD Aurion was a rarity, with 537 built between 2007 and 2009.

Yes, the Kluger uses the 3.5-litre 2GR-FE too. The Camry V6 has the same 3.5-litre 2GR-FE, with 336 Nm.
How much more power does the GAN GA+ give the Aurion?
The catalogue gives the Aurion 272 hp and 336 Nm; with the GAN GA+ fitted it reaches 294 hp and 363 Nm. The GAN GA+ is rated at up to 12% more power. These are the stated gains for this engine type, not a dyno reading of your car.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU remap without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
