What makes the Chery Arrizo special
Chery Arrizo tuning: the Arrizo 7 engine
Chery Arrizo tuning covers the Arrizo 8, the 6 Pro and the 5 as names, but this page covers a single engine, the one in the Arrizo 7. The Arrizo 7 is a compact saloon built in Wuhu, China, from 2013 to 2018; its official availability in Europe is not documented. Its 1.6 ACTECO petrol engine, with 125 hp and 160 Nm, works with the GAN GA+; the engine came with a five-speed manual or a CVT.
The later 1.5 turbo of the Arrizo 7, with 147 hp and 220 Nm, is not in the catalogue. The Arrizo 5 has a page of its own.

Chery Arrizo 1.6: what does the GAN GA+ add?
With it, the engine goes from 125 hp and 160 Nm to 140 hp and 179 Nm. These are the stated gains for this engine type, not a dyno reading of your car. A naturally aspirated engine like this one is rated at up to 12% more power, which is a ceiling, not a promise.
Chery Arrizo 8 stage 1 or a tuning box: is there a module for it?
The Arrizo 8 and the Arrizo 6 Pro are not in the catalogue. A remap changes the ECU program, and it is often sold as stage 1; the GAN module leaves that program alone.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU remap without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
