What makes the Cupra Leon special
Cupra Leon tuning: check the engine, not the name
The name Cupra Leon covers many versions, so Cupra Leon tuning with a tuning box depends on the engine. The catalogue lists the 2.0 TSI DSG with 190 hp and 320 Nm. Cupra sold that version in Germany from October 2022 to December 2023, and the 2024 facelift dropped it. The VZ with 300 hp, the e-Hybrid and the 2.0 TDI are different engines altogether. The earlier SEAT Leon Cupra (5F) is a different car; the Cupra Leon KL is the one built on the Leon IV from 2020.

No. Choose by engine and stock output rather than by the Cupra Leon name.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU remap without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
