Dacia Chip Tuning
Up to 30% more power for your Dacia
The Dacia catalogue lists 49 engines (models: 5, generations: 8). For 90% of the engines, there are the GAN GT (up to 30% more power) and GAN GTL (up to 25%) tuning modules; for 5 naturally aspirated engines, the GAN GA and GAN GA+ (up to 12%). Each engine’s figures are on its own page.
Dacia chip tuning without an ECU remap
The tuning module sits between the sensors and the engine control unit (ECU) and adjusts their signals. Your manufacturer’s warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the module can be removed at any time.

Dacia chip tuning: questions
What does the GAN GT add to a Duster II with the Blue dCi 115?
For the Duster II Blue dCi 115 with 116 hp the catalogue shows 150 hp and 335 Nm with the GAN GT, up from 116 hp and 260 Nm. The Duster I dCi 110 has its own figures in the catalogue. These are the stated gains for this engine type, not a dyno reading of your car.
Is the 1.5 dCi 90 of the Sandero, Logan and Lodgy the same engine?
In the catalogue the 1.5 dCi 90 appears under the Duster I, Logan, Lodgy, Dokker and Sandero. In the Sandero II and Logan II it is named eco2 and has a higher torque figure, so go by your car's torque figure.
Is there a module for the petrol Duster I?
The Duster I came with a 1.6 16V petrol engine with 105 hp until July 2015, and from July 2015 with the 1.6 SCe 115. In the catalogue both are matched with the GAN GA+.
Tuning box or ECU remap for a Dacia dCi?
Dacia chiptuning with a tuning box is not an ECU remap: a remap rewrites the factory software, while the box sits between the engine sensors and the ECU and adjusts their signals. The GAN module leaves the factory software, the checksums and the flash counter untouched, and the engine's factory protections stay active. Your manufacturer's warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the module can be removed at any time.
Does the GAN module affect my Dacia warranty?
No. The module does not change the ECU software and can be removed at any time, so your manufacturer’s warranty is preserved. We also give an engine warranty: 2 years with the GAN GT, 1 year with the GAN GTL.
Tuning box or ECU remap: which should I choose?
An ECU remap permanently changes the maps in the ECU and leaves a trace in the flash counter. The GAN tuning module adjusts the sensor signals instead: the ECU stays in factory condition, and you can return the car to stock in about a minute.
Dacia chip tuning: what to know about the engines
Dacia tuning: one diesel runs through the range
Do a Duster, a Sandero and a Logan with the 1.5 dCi use the same tuning box? Dacia engine tuning does lead back to that one engine. The 1.5 dCi (K9K) ran in the first Sandero with 75 or 90 hp and also powers the Logan, the Lodgy and the Dokker. The Duster I came out in April 2010 with the dCi 90 and the dCi 110, which has made 109 hp since the 2013 facelift. The Duster II started in January 2018 with the dCi 90 and dCi 110, and the Blue dCi 95 and 115 (116 hp) followed in September 2018.
Blue dCi is the later version of the 1.5 diesel, with SCR and AdBlue. For Duster chip tuning note that the Duster I dCi 110 appears twice in the catalogue, with 107 hp and with 110 hp, so match your car by its stock figure. Turbodiesels such as the dCi work with the GAN GT, rated at up to 30% more power.
What Dacia sold in Europe
Germany registered about 390,000 Sanderos from 2009 and about 285,000 Dusters, and the Duster peaked in 2019 with 30,698 cars. The Duster II also came with TCe petrol and ECO-G bi-fuel engines; in the catalogue it appears with the dCi and Blue dCi diesels. For the Sandero II the catalogue has the dCi 75 and the dCi 90; the Blue dCi 95 that followed in October 2018 is a different version, so check your stock output.
The Lodgy ran with the 1.5 dCi 90 and 110 until 2018 and with the Blue dCi 115 until January 2022, when the Jogger replaced it. The Duster I's petrol engines, the 1.6 16V with 105 hp and the 1.6 SCe with 114 hp, work with the GAN GA+. The Duster III from 2024 has no diesel.
