What makes the Geely Monjaro special
Geely Monjaro tuning: which 2.0T is yours?
Which Monjaro 2.0T do you have: the 218 hp front-wheel-drive T4 or the 238 hp all-wheel-drive T5? Geely Monjaro tuning starts with that question, because the petrol 2.0 turbo, the JLH-4G20TDB, comes in both forms. The T4 comes with a dual-clutch gearbox, while the T5 uses an eight-speed Aisin automatic.
The catalogue lists the 2.0T only once, at 238 hp and 350 Nm, and that output is the T5's. A T4 makes 218 hp, less than the catalogue figure, so check the output of your own car before you choose a module.
The petrol Monjaro and the Monjaro EM-i
The petrol Monjaro, known in China as the Xingyue L and coded KX11, has been built since 2021 but is not sold in the EU or the UK. Europe gets the Monjaro EM-i instead, a plug-in hybrid that Geely showed at the Paris motor show on 12 October 2026. Geely plans to sell it in Poland by the end of 2026 and in the UK in 2027.
Geely has not yet confirmed which petrol engine the EM-i uses or what its system output is. This page therefore covers only the petrol Monjaro 2.0T and its catalogue figures.
Which module fits the 2.0T
The 2.0T is a turbo petrol engine, so it works with the GAN GT. The same engine is also offered with the GAN GTL, which takes it to 271 hp and 399 Nm.

How much more power does Monjaro chip tuning with the GAN GT add to the 2.0T?
With the GAN GT the 2.0T reaches 278 hp and 410 Nm, against 238 hp and 350 Nm as delivered. For a turbo petrol engine the GAN GT line is rated at up to 30% more power; these are the stated gains for this engine type, not a dyno reading of your car.
Is the Monjaro EM-i plug-in hybrid in the catalogue?
No. The Monjaro EM-i is not in the catalogue. As a plug-in hybrid the EM-i has a different drivetrain, so the figures for the petrol 2.0T do not apply to it.
Monjaro tuning box or ECU remap: can the car return to stock?
Yes, with a tuning box the factory settings come back. Unlike an ECU remap, the GAN module leaves the factory software, checksums and flash counter untouched, and once the module is removed, no traces remain: nothing is written to the ECU. Your manufacturer's warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the module can be removed at any time.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU remap without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
