Is there a module for the petrol Geely Starray and Coolray?
No. Both use a 1.5 turbo with 174 hp and 290 Nm. The 1.5 turbo is not in the catalogue.
Which module fits the Geely Atlas I with the 1.8T, 2.0 or 2.4?
The Atlas I, with the 1.8T, the 2.0 and the 2.4, belongs to other markets and has not been sold in Europe. The turbo 1.8T works with the GAN GT, and the 2.0 and 2.4 without a turbo with the GAN GA+. The Atlas I 1.8T with 184 hp and 285 Nm, a car for other markets, reaches 223 hp and 345 Nm with the GAN GT. These are the stated gains for this engine type, not a dyno reading of your car.
What about the Monjaro, the EX5 and the Starray EM-i?
The Monjaro 2.0T with 238 hp in the catalogue is a car for other markets: the Monjaro has not been sold in Europe, and its first European version is a plug-in hybrid. The EX5 and EX2 are electric, so there is no combustion engine for a tuning box to work with. The Starray EM-i combines a 1.5 petrol engine of 99 hp with an electric motor of 218 hp, and this 1.5 petrol engine is not in the catalogue.
Chiptuning for a Geely: tuning box or ECU remap?
Unlike an ECU remap, which rewrites the factory software, a tuning box sits between the engine sensors and the ECU and adjusts their signals. With the GAN module the factory software, checksums and flash counter stay untouched, and the engine's factory protections remain active. Your manufacturer's warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the module can be removed at any time.

An ECU remap permanently changes the maps in the ECU and leaves a trace in the flash counter. The GAN tuning module adjusts the sensor signals instead: the ECU stays in factory condition, and you can return the car to stock in about a minute.

Geely tuning in Europe: what is actually sold
Geely returned to Europe in 2025 with the electric EX5, and the Starray EM-i plug-in hybrid followed in 2026; that return is the starting point for Geely tuning with a tuning box. The Starray EM-i is meant for Western Europe and the UK, with a 99 hp petrol engine, a 218 hp electric motor and a system output of 262 hp. It arrived in Germany, Spain and the Benelux countries on 25 and 26 March 2026. The electric EX5, called E5 in Germany, is sold in Greece, the Balkans, Italy and the UK; UK orders for the Starray EM-i opened in February 2026. The petrol Starray, known in China as the Boyue L and in the catalogue as the Atlas II, is sold in south-eastern Europe through the distributor SEEAG.
Sales began in Serbia in December 2024, and Romania, Croatia and Greece are on the list too. It has a 1.5 turbo with 174 hp and 290 Nm, built jointly with Volvo, and a 2.0 turbo with four-wheel drive. The Coolray, which is the Binyue in China, is sold in Serbia and its neighbours with the same 1.5 turbo. The Coolray launched in Serbia in 2023.
Catalogue models from other markets
For Geely chip tuning this matters: the catalogue was built for the whole brand, so check which market your car comes from. Most of the cars in the catalogue come from other markets: the Atlas I, the Boyue in China, was sold in the Middle East, Latin America, Malaysia and Belarus. Its engines are the 1.8T, the 2.0 and the 2.4. The Emgrand EC7 of 2009 to 2021 earned four stars in the European NCAP crash test in December 2011, but it was not sold in the EU or the UK.
Its engines came from Mitsubishi: a 1.5 and a 1.8, plus a 1.3 turbo from 2014. The GC9, also called the Borui or Emgrand GT, was built from 2015 to 2022 with a 1.8T of 163 hp, a 2.4 of 162 hp and a 3.5 V6 of 275 hp. The Monjaro, the Xingyue L in China, has not been sold in Europe so far; its first European version is the Monjaro EM-i plug-in hybrid. Turbo petrol engines work with the GAN GT, rated at up to 30% more power, and naturally aspirated ones with the GAN GA+, rated at up to 12%.
