Haval Chip Tuning
Up to 30% more power for your Haval
The Haval catalogue lists 45 engines (models: 13, generations: 16). For 96% of the engines, there are the GAN GT (up to 30% more power) and GAN GTL (up to 25%) tuning modules; for 2 naturally aspirated engines, the GAN GA and GAN GA+ (up to 12%). Each engine’s figures are on its own page.
Haval chip tuning without an ECU remap
The tuning module sits between the sensors and the engine control unit (ECU) and adjusts their signals. Your manufacturer’s warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the module can be removed at any time.

Haval chip tuning: questions
What does the GAN GA+ add to the first Haval H6 with the 2.0 diesel?
On the first H6, the GAN GA+ takes the 143 hp, 310 Nm diesel to 160 hp and 347 Nm. These are the stated gains for this engine type, not a dyno reading of your car.
Does the Jolion Pro 1.5T with 177 hp work with the GAN GT?
The German Jolion Pro is a turbo petrol car with 177 hp. For the Jolion, the catalogue covers the 143 and 150 hp versions from other markets. The 177 hp 1.5 turbo of the German Jolion Pro is not in the catalogue.
Is there a module for the H6 Hybrid in Germany?
The German H6 hybrid is not in the catalogue. The system output of the hybrid is 243 hp.
Tuning box or ECU remap for a Haval 1.5T, and is it a "stage 1"?
Unlike an ECU remap, which rewrites the factory software, a tuning box sits between the engine sensors and the ECU and adjusts their signals. With the GAN module the factory software, checksums and flash counter stay untouched, and the engine's factory protections remain active. Your manufacturer's warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the module can be removed at any time.
Does the GAN module affect my Haval warranty?
No. The module does not change the ECU software and can be removed at any time, so your manufacturer’s warranty is preserved. We also give an engine warranty: 2 years with the GAN GT, 1 year with the GAN GTL.
Tuning box or ECU remap: which should I choose?
An ECU remap permanently changes the maps in the ECU and leaves a trace in the flash counter. The GAN tuning module adjusts the sensor signals instead: the ECU stays in factory condition, and you can return the car to stock in about a minute.
Haval chip tuning: what to know about the engines
Haval tuning in Europe: two models and a hybrid
Haval tuning with a tuning box begins with what the market offers: Germany sells the H6 hybrid and the Jolion Pro, and the H7 is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026. The Jolion Pro arrived in Germany in February 2026 with a single engine, a 1.5 turbo petrol with 177 hp and 270 Nm and a seven-speed DCT. It comes in the Premium and Luxury versions with front-wheel drive, and there is no hybrid Jolion in Germany. The third-generation H6 has been sold there since December 2025 or January 2026, only as a full hybrid with a 150 hp 1.5 turbo and a system output of 243 hp. It has a two-speed hybrid transmission and front-wheel drive only, in the Premium and Luxury versions.
In Britain the Jolion Pro was the first Haval model, with deliveries from February 2025, and there it is a full hybrid with about 190 hp. The British Jolion Pro hybrid is not in the catalogue. Both the German Jolion Pro and the H6 hybrid use a 1.5 turbo petrol engine, in different versions. The H7 is announced with a 2.0 turbo petrol engine, a full hybrid and a plug-in hybrid. Haval is a sub-brand of Great Wall Motor; in Europe the names are GWM Haval H6 and Haval Jolion Pro, and the brand sells through GWM dealers.
The first H6 and its diesel
The first H6 came to Europe in 2013 as the Great Wall H6, built at Lovech in Bulgaria until 2017 and sold in Bulgaria and Italy. Italian sales started in early 2014 through the importer Eurasia Motor Company, and the car was never sold in Germany. Its European engine was a 2.0 turbo diesel (GW4D20) with 143 hp and 310 Nm, a six-speed manual and front or four-wheel drive. The versions were Star 4WD and Premium 4WD, and the diesel met the Euro 5 standard.
This diesel works with the GAN GA+. The Bulgarian press also called the car the Hover H6. Turbo petrol engines such as the 1.5 turbo work with the GAN GT, rated at up to 30% more power.

Models from other markets
The catalogue also covers Haval models that Europe does not get, such as the Dargo, the F7 and the H9. Check which market your car comes from and find its stock output in your documents before you choose a module.
Which Haval models are in the catalogue
The catalogue lists 13 models from Haval. The most engines are listed for the H6 (12), Dargo (8) and H5 (6). The biggest gain among the models is on the H5: up to +46 hp.
Naturally aspirated Haval engines
For 2 naturally aspirated engines from Haval, there is the GAN GA+: up to 12% more power and up to 15% lower fuel consumption in ECO mode. You can fit it yourself, in most cases in under 15 minutes.
How to find your Haval engine
Choose your model in the list above, then the generation by model year and chassis code, and the engine by the power output in your registration document. The engine page shows the exact gain and the tuning module price.
