What makes the Honda Civic X special
Civic X tuning: the 1.5 VTEC Turbo and its oil
The 1.5 VTEC Turbo of the Civic X hatchback (FK7) has 182 hp and 240 Nm with the manual gearbox, and 220 Nm with the CVT. Civic FK7 tuning with a tuning box pairs this engine with the GAN GT, which adds 52 hp and 72 Nm. Oil comes first: on short trips petrol can dilute the engine oil of the 1.5 VTEC Turbo.
Honda describes such cases as rare, especially outside severe cold. A tuning box does not cure oil dilution, so check the oil level and the service history before any power upgrade.
The diesel and the other engines
The 1.6 i-DTEC with 120 hp and 300 Nm, built in 2018 and 2019 for the hatchback and the saloon, also uses the GAN GT and gains 35 hp and 87 Nm. The 1.0 VTEC Turbo with 126 or 129 hp and the Type R with 320 hp also belong to the Civic X. The 1.0 VTEC Turbo and the Type R engine are not in the catalogue. The European Civic X is the FK7 hatchback and the FC saloon.

How much more power does a Civic X 1.5 VTEC Turbo with 182 hp get?
Stock, the engine makes 182 hp and 240 Nm; with the GAN GT it reaches 234 hp and 312 Nm. This is a turbo petrol engine, the type for which the GAN GT is rated at up to 30% more power; these are the stated gains for this engine type, not a dyno reading of your car.
