What makes the Jeep Liberty special
Jeep Liberty tuning: the Cherokee under its American name
Liberty is the North American name for the Jeep Cherokee KJ of 2001 to 2008 and the KK of 2008 to 2012. Europe got the same cars as the Cherokee; the Liberty name was not used there. For Jeep Liberty tuning with a tuning box that leaves two petrol engines, a 2.4 and a 3.7 V6.

The GAN GA+ is rated at up to 12% more power for both petrol engines, the 3.7 V6 and the 2.4. These are the stated gains for this engine type, not a dyno reading of your car.
Jeep Liberty KJ tuning: what about the diesels?
The American Liberty had a 2.8 CRD only in 2005 and 2006, whereas the European Cherokee KJ and KK had VM Motori diesels. You will find them on the Cherokee page.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU remap without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
