What makes the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque special
Range Rover Evoque tuning: the engine changed in 2015
The early Evoque 2.2 TD4 has 150 hp and 400 Nm, and a GAN GT tuning box takes it to 193 hp. Land Rover Evoque tuning hinges on the build date, because the diesel changed in 2015. The 2.2 ended in February 2015; the facelift brought the 2.0 Ingenium TD4 with 150 hp, again 193 hp with the module, and a 179 hp version that reaches 230 hp.
The front-wheel-drive eD4 with 150 hp is covered by the same 150 hp figures. The 2.2 SD4 with 190 hp reaches 244 hp, and the 2.0 Si4 petrol with 241 hp reaches 306 hp. The second Evoque (L551) from 2019 is a separate generation with mild-hybrid 2.0 Ingenium engines.

They are one 2.2 engine at two power levels, with 400 Nm against 420 Nm. After chip tuning with a GAN GT the TD4 reaches 193 hp and the SD4 reaches 244 hp. These are the stated gains for these engine types, not dyno readings of your car.
Range Rover Evoque stage 1, remap or tuning box?
An ECU remap changes the software inside the control unit; a GAN tuning box sits between the sensors and the ECU and only adjusts their signals. Your manufacturer's warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the module can be removed at any time.
Which engines of the second Evoque (L551) are covered?
The D150 and the D180 are listed on this page as the 2.0 TD4 with 150 hp and 380 Nm and with 179 hp and 430 Nm. The D240 and the P250 are not listed separately for the Evoque: the same engines appear as the 2.0 D and the 2.0 T of the Range Rover Velar. The D200 and the P300 are covered the same way, as the 2.0 D and the 2.0 T of the Jaguar F-Pace. The D165, the 1.5 P160, the P200 and the plug-in hybrids are not in the catalogue.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU remap without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
