What makes the Ford Fiesta V/VI special
Ford Fiesta 2001 tuning: Mk5 or Mk6?
A Fiesta built from 2001 to 2008 goes by two names, Mk5 and Mk6; for Ford Fiesta 2001 tuning with a tuning box the engine matters, not that number. It is usually called the Mk5, with the Mk5.5 facelift of October 2005, whereas in Britain it often goes by Mk6 and its 2008 successor by Mk7. Fiesta Mk6 tuning therefore refers to the same car, launched as a five-door in November 2001 and as a three-door in June 2002.
Engines of the 2002–2008 Fiesta
The petrol engines are the 1.25 Duratec with 70 hp, the 1.3 with 60 and 70 hp, the 1.4 with 80 hp and the 1.6 with 103 hp, plus the Fiesta ST with a 2.0 Duratec HE of 150 hp from March 2005. Of these, the 1.3 with 60 hp, the 1.4 with 80 hp and the ST with 150 hp work with the GAN GA+. The 1.25 Duratec appears in the catalogue as the 1.25i with 75 hp, which reaches 84 hp with the GAN GA+.

In the catalogue the 1.4 TDCi goes from 68 hp to 88 hp with the GAN GT. These are the stated gains for this engine type, not a dyno reading of your car.
Is chip tuning possible on the Fiesta ST 2.0 Duratec with 150 hp?
It is: the ST uses the GAN GA+, which is rated at up to 12% more power.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 tune?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU remap without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
