Advantages:
- easy installation, and a very easy control app (gan app)
- fast shipping and very good presentation of the product
- about a +10hp
-due to being an atmospheric car, increasing the hp is difficult, so at last +10hp is a great option
- the hp gain is greater at high rpm and velocity
- combining with a cold air intake, the hp winning is greater
- cheaper than a ecu reflash
Disadvantages:
- they say that you won +19hp.... is more like +10hp
- expensive for only +10hp
- not very noticeable in low rpm and velocity
Comment:
in conclusion, is a good idea for gaining an extra hp for this atmospheric model, combining with a good intake and exhaust you can reach 190 hp, its true that its an expensive item for the little hp gaining, but knowing that an atmospheric motor is difficult to increase the hp, is a good option to give it an extra push to the hp

Sehr einfahcer Einbau.

Kraftstoffeinsparung zumindest im Dynamic - Modus nicht erzielbar.
Im Eco - Modus vielleicht eher, jedoch nicht getestet.

Habe für meinen Daihatsu Materia gleich nochmal nachbestellt.

Bestellung und Lieferung lief reibungslos und schnell.
Der mechanische Einbau konnte mit Unterstützung/Hilfe eines Fachmanns problemlos durchgeführt werden.
Das Einrichten über die App lief super.
Disadvantages:
Im unteren Drehzahlbereich ist eine leichte Leistungssteigerung zu erkennen. Ich hatte mehr erwartet.

Die Reduzierung des Spritverbrauchs habe ich noch nicht getestet.
Comment:
Die Bauteile, GÄN Modul und der Kabelbaum machen einen hochwertigen Eindruck.
Die mitgelieferten Kabelbinder sind allerdings Schrott. Beim Anziehen sind sie bereits gerissen. Darf einem Kabelbinder nicht passieren.

Advantages:
with Dynamic mode there are really better acceleration respond, convenient mobile App, easy installation. It’s good that you can use the same unit on other cars with the same engine type
Disadvantages:
Eco mode is doubtful, according to the fuel consumption the fuel economy is less than 5%, and not up to 15% as stated on the website. When calibrating using mobile app, the progress bar does not work correctly. For example, it reaches 48%, then rolls back to 41%, and such rollbacks continue while calibration is in progress. It is annoying.

Seit Frühling bin ich mit GÄN im Passat 2.0 TDI gefahren. Auf der Website steht, dass ich zusätzlich bis zu 55 PS Leistung bekomme. Ich bin nicht sicher, ob es 55 davon gibt, aber die Änderungen sind spürbar. Besonders beim Überholen. Auch das Gaspedal verhält sich anders.

Ich habe das Modul im Sommer gekauft. Mir hat es gefallen, dass es die Möglichkeit für Tesrdrive gibt. Ich wollte es zuerst zurückgeben, aber ich habe meine Meinung nach dem Urlaub geändert. Wir waren in Valencia und ich hatte die Möglichkeit, das Modul zu testen.
Ein Vorteil ist, dass sich der Kraftstoffverbrauch geändert hat. Irgendwo 1 Liter pro hundert Kilometer. Ich habe das gut verstanden, da wir 2 Tage unterwegs waren und ich hatte die Möglichkeit den Kraftstoffverbrauch zu messen.

Advantages:
I liked the simple installation, smartphone control, a cool carbon housing and you can save your dealer warranty. It’s possible to remove the device before visiting the service centre. The car’s running way is different.
Disadvantages:
Of course, there is a difference between such kind of tuning and ecu remapping. With ecu remapping the car goes muh better, with additional device like Gan the car runs better but not so good in comparison with ecu remapping. There was a problem with installation: there wasn’t my engine type in the App, but the manufacturer corrected a mistake within 2 hours after contacting the support service via phone number. Of course, this device is bad value for money.
Comment:
Fuel consumption fell a little in dynamic mode. In STOCK mode I feel like I pull another car behind.

Advantages:
Simple to load software and instal in car. Total less than half-hour. Make sure car engine warm and running before plugging in.
Disadvantages:
Instructions prescribe 120km drive to allow the software to adapt to the engine ECU. I’m not sure if this has to be a non-stop drive from plugging in the unit, so I did, but this could be inconvenient for some customers.
Comment:
The Boxster is my daily drive - 150,000 km/year, so I am very familiar with it. I have always found throttle response quite ‘patchy’, with torque being unimpressive at low revs/throttle opening, and a very annoying characteristic of providing some power when the throttle is opened to say increase speed from 50km/h to 60km/hour in traffic, but then reducing power slightly at the new static throttle opening - I’m sure it’s some sort of Porsche safety feature, but it drives me nuts!
I didn’t honestly expect the GAN to alter throttle response much, as other critics have pointed out that it has no effect on throttle pedal signal. But WOW! Throttle inputs now have linear and more ‘urgent’ response from the engine, and it feels more torquey throughout the rev range.
I have no idea if the car is ‘quicker’ and frankly I don’t care. But I t’s much more drivable and throttle-steer is more predictable through bends, so it’s more enjoyable.
Surprisingly fuel consumption has improved slightly even in Dynamic mode!
All this begs the question, if all this can be achieved by a small plug-in, what the Hell were Porsche doing in their ‘World leading’ engine management box?…

Installation of the software in the app is very easy.
Just choose your car and wait for about 5 mins and you are ready to

Disadvantages:
The installation of the hardware under the hood is not as
simple as it is described on the website. In my opinion, you need to
be a bit more than a novice mechanic to fit on my car engine VAG 1.0
TSI. I had to contact support to get detailed pictures of my engine to
succeed with the assembly.
Comment:
Subjectively, the car feels stronger and more responsive
on the accelerator.
Support is very helpful when you need their help.
