Advantages:
My car is normal aspirated and there are less products than for turbos , which give additional power other than remapping which is costly and limited.
GAN is the only one which I can find for my car , easy and best.

I installed it and drove more than 120km as instructed.
First thing I felt was the less hesitation at uphill drive at a rather lower rev like 1200-1500 rpm . Torque at low rev got fatter I feel.
Mine has a PSE with X-PIPE, and the sound at 4000+ rpm is really awesome.
GAN GA+ is a very rare item for non turbo naturally aspirated vehicles like Porsche 996 Carrera. Remapping is something costly and not easy to get back to factory setting. GAN GA+ is very easy to install , just plug the device to the OBD2 coupler , and can choose mode from 3 (DYNAMIC,STOCK,ECO ) via smart phones. Extension cable worked nicely for my car.

Not sure about the actual number of maximum power / torque increase , but the first I noticed is the fatter torque at the lower rev like 1200-1500 rpm.(video 4 ) It got much more flexible driving uphill at this rpm range , hesitation has gone , where this kind of engine is not good at.
Mine has the PSE with X-PIPE and sounds very nice at 3000+ rpm ( Video 5,6 ). Due to other traffic , it's not the full acceleration , but I can feel the quicker response of the engine.
Disadvantages:
Nothing yet. Hopefully forever.

5 year warranty and 2 year engine warranty is very helping.
I'd like to see the actual dyno data , even not 996 one but some other examples.

Comment:
I connected this device via the attached cable and hid it behind the pile floor covering. Up to 100 km, I notices the result: the throttle response at 1,2,3 gear is better, the fuel consumption did not change (I use the “Dynamic” mode). I think the result is good for such kind of tuning. I like my car more.

Advantages:
To be honest at the moment everything. Hopefully gets better and better.
Disadvantages:
The fact that it needs to stay in the obd slot at all times. Also it’s not clear whether it always needs to be connected to a phone via Bluetooth that has a internet connection

Advantages:
Changes the personality of the car in a very positive way. Once you have driven the car with this product you will find it hard to use the car without it. That’s a genuine statement, I’ve tried it!!
Disadvantages:
Always has to be in the OBD socket. Not enough options, just dynamic or economical.

Advantages:
Simple installation, it really works, fuel saving - more than 1L/100 km, mobile App works perfectly in the city and outside! The car became faster. Gear changes also became faster. In the cabine it is much quieter due to the reduction of revs.
Disadvantages:
I haven’t noticed yet!

Advantages:
Simple to load software and instal in car. Total less than half-hour. Make sure car engine warm and running before plugging in.
Disadvantages:
Instructions prescribe 120km drive to allow the software to adapt to the engine ECU. I’m not sure if this has to be a non-stop drive from plugging in the unit, so I did, but this could be inconvenient for some customers.
Comment:
The Boxster is my daily drive - 150,000 km/year, so I am very familiar with it. I have always found throttle response quite ‘patchy’, with torque being unimpressive at low revs/throttle opening, and a very annoying characteristic of providing some power when the throttle is opened to say increase speed from 50km/h to 60km/hour in traffic, but then reducing power slightly at the new static throttle opening - I’m sure it’s some sort of Porsche safety feature, but it drives me nuts!
I didn’t honestly expect the GAN to alter throttle response much, as other critics have pointed out that it has no effect on throttle pedal signal. But WOW! Throttle inputs now have linear and more ‘urgent’ response from the engine, and it feels more torquey throughout the rev range.
I have no idea if the car is ‘quicker’ and frankly I don’t care. But I t’s much more drivable and throttle-steer is more predictable through bends, so it’s more enjoyable.
Surprisingly fuel consumption has improved slightly even in Dynamic mode!
All this begs the question, if all this can be achieved by a small plug-in, what the Hell were Porsche doing in their ‘World leading’ engine management box?…
