I felt compelled to write a quick review of the GAN GTL as I feel it is very much worth the investment. I have been into modding cars for many years and I know there are many scams out there. If one does their research, you’ll end up finding the GAN products are top notch and not a scam-these are not eBay race-chips. From what I have read and seen, GAN put a ton of research and quality assurance into their products. While researching I saw a lot of BWM, Porsche, and Mercedes owners that installed these units with pretty impressive results, and usually people with cars like these do not mess around with cheap eBay race chips or other sketchy products. I have tried a competitor’s device that is similar, but after my car threw a code, I returned it since they could not provide me with a suitable solution but rather my car that was listed as compatible on their site was removed. So as you can imagine, I was a little gun shy about trying another brand of this type of devide, but after a ton of research, I felt confident enough to order. Once it arrived, since GAN claimed this install was a snap, I installed it that day. I took be about 30 minutes as I took a good amount of time to neaten up the wires and fix the unit to the engine bay. It has been about 2 months and no engine faults to report, but tons more power to enjoy. My car pulled hard before, but now it pulls even harder as I can lose traction in second gear and third gear if the roads are not optimum. Worth noting, I have a sports exhaust including a downpipe and also intake modifications and the GAN GTL device just seems to take advantage of these mods. In terms of real-world improvements, I took a half second off on my 0-60 times and I feel I could get better times with stickier tires. I used the Torque APP which is pretty darn accurate and did several pulls and it’s consistent. If I put GAN into Stock mode, I lose that ½ second, so it truly works and not just relying on the proverbial butt-dyno. I also wo

in conclusion, is a good idea for gaining an extra hp for this atmospheric model, combining with a good intake and exhaust you can reach 190 hp, its true that its an expensive item for the little hp gaining, but knowing that an atmospheric motor is difficult to increase the hp, is a good option to give it an extra push to the hp

Improve the documentation/description about how to use the custom/adjustment mode(s).

Wäre das verbinden wie beworben mit dem Smartphone möglich, würde ich es noch einmal kaufen und weiter empfehlen. Doch durch diesen gravierenden Mangel nicht.Ich würde dann die günstigere Variante Ga kaufen. Gruß Martin Seegers

Hello everyone. I have a honda civic mk8 saloon 1.8 R18 engine. I was always skeptical of power chip tuning for an atmospheric engines. Turbine engines are easy to modify, but not atmospheric, I always thought. I have approached several tuning companies to increase the power of my car, but all in response do not work with such engines. I was skeptical about the power tuning chips. But I found the Gan tuning company page, studied the reviews and decided to give it a try. I ordered Gan +. They shipped very fast, in a few days. I installed it very easily and have using it already for months. And what can i say: I was surprised, my car really changed. The power and torque increased sharply. I can't tell you exactly the power and torque has increased how much manufacturer told because I haven't measured the power of the car before and after installation , but I think it's both increased or close to the truth. If you want to cheaply increase the power of your car, do not hesitate to buy Gan +. I highly recommend. Thanks for Gan Tuning.

Die Bauteile, GÄN Modul und der Kabelbaum machen einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Die mitgelieferten Kabelbinder sind allerdings Schrott. Beim Anziehen sind sie bereits gerissen. Darf einem Kabelbinder nicht passieren.

All around great product from my experiences so far. There was however some hesitation after initial installation where I noted boost cut during hard acceleration, however this soon disappeared, likely as parameters settled.

Be careful and remove the device when visiting the service

Hello! I received a Gan box from you today. I installed it. Well, I didn’t think that this box could change something. Initially, when I ordered it, I did not particularly believe in this device. But after I started the engine and came away I simply didn’t recognized my car. it’s like an airplane!!!. I hope my engine won’t die quickly I like everything. In general, these are my first impressions. I’ll check the fuel consumption later. Well, I expect everything will be fine. In general, thanks for this chip.

5 year warranty and 2 year engine warranty is very helping. I'd like to see the actual dyno data , even not 996 one but some other examples.

After Gan installation, I immediately tried the Dynamic mode. I got everything what I needed, the response of the acceleration pedal became better. I have 37 wheels size (regular 33) on the car, when I accelerated or went uphill, I felt that the car was going hard, now this isn’t so. Before purchasing this product I watched a lot of video in YouTube with pros and cons. after installation it is necessary to drive 120 km for the better adaptation of the device. As for me, so I got exactly what I wanted from Gan, the failure disappeared when I accelerate under load. Someone can say that the same result can be achieved with the Jeter acceleration pedal, but I had some experience with it and it didn’t give such me result as Gan did. Generally, I advise Gan to everyone who wants to get more positive emotions from his car.

In my opinion well worth the money compared to the competition

I am happy with the Gan Ga + tuning chip. I would recommend this product to anyone. Gan tuning is the real deal unlike the crappy ones that are sold on Ebay.

Für mich ist es das perfekte Chiptuning. Hatte vorher ein Chiptuning von einem Mitbewerber aber dieses hat nicht mit meinen weiteren Veränderungen harmoniert. Aber hiermit läuft man Fahrzeug perfekt.

Great product at a very good price.

The Boxster is my daily drive - 150,000 km/year, so I am very familiar with it. I have always found throttle response quite ‘patchy’, with torque being unimpressive at low revs/throttle opening, and a very annoying characteristic of providing some power when the throttle is opened to say increase speed from 50km/h to 60km/hour in traffic, but then reducing power slightly at the new static throttle opening - I’m sure it’s some sort of Porsche safety feature, but it drives me nuts! I didn’t honestly expect the GAN to alter throttle response much, as other critics have pointed out that it has no effect on throttle pedal signal. But WOW! Throttle inputs now have linear and more ‘urgent’ response from the engine, and it feels more torquey throughout the rev range. I have no idea if the car is ‘quicker’ and frankly I don’t care. But I t’s much more drivable and throttle-steer is more predictable through bends, so it’s more enjoyable. Surprisingly fuel consumption has improved slightly even in Dynamic mode! All this begs the question, if all this can be achieved by a small plug-in, what the Hell were Porsche doing in their ‘World leading’ engine management box?…

A very, very good shop — everything went perfectly. The product is of very high quality, installation went absolutely smoothly, and the chip’s function impressed me a lot. The performance increase is definitely noticeable.
